    About the Practice

    What is The Neurology Collective?

We’re a concierge neurology practice in Dallas with three board-certified neurologists: Dr. Elizabeth Chambers, Dr. Deepa Panjeti-Moore, and Dr. Aashoo Mentreddi. We keep our patient panels at 200 per doctor — compared to 2,000+ in a traditional practice — so we can actually be available when you need us.

How is this different from a traditional neurology practice?

The main difference is access and attention. In a traditional practice, your neurologist is managing thousands of patients, which means long waits, rushed appointments, and little room for the kind of care complex neurological conditions actually require. We’ve built a different model: smaller panels, direct communication, and the time to know you, not just your chart. For our membership patients, we personally coordinate with your other physicians rather than sending a fax and hoping someone reads it.

    Who are your physicians?

Dr. Elizabeth Chambers and Dr. Aashoo Mentreddi specialize in movement disorders — Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, and related conditions. Dr. Deepa Panjeti-Moore specializes in epilepsy and seizures. All three see patients across a broad range of neurological conditions and bring a collaborative approach to complex cases.

    Is this right for me?

We’re a strong fit for people who have complex neurological needs, have grown frustrated with the traditional system, and are willing to invest in a different approach. That might mean you’ve been managing Parkinson’s or epilepsy for years and want a physician who actually knows your history. Or you’re a busy professional who can’t afford to wait months for an appointment or spend an afternoon on hold. We’re not the lowest-cost option — and we’re honest about that. But for the patients we serve, the difference in access and attention is significant.

Who is this NOT a good fit for?

If you’re comfortable with traditional insurance-based care or seeking the lowest-cost option, we’re probably not the right fit. We also don’t take workers’ compensation or legal cases.

Do you offer lifestyle and wellness coaching?

Yes. All three of our physicians have completed certification in lifestyle and wellness coaching through Harvard. This service is available as part of our Orchid membership tier and represents something most neurology practices — concierge or otherwise — simply don’t offer. Neurological health doesn’t exist in isolation from sleep, nutrition, stress, and how you live — and we’re equipped to address all of it.

    What conditions do you treat?

Our physicians specialize in movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia), epilepsy and seizure disorders, headaches and migraines, memory and cognitive concerns, and gait and balance disorders. See all conditions we treat →

    Getting Started

    Do I need a referral?

No. You’re welcome to reach out to us directly. Many of our patients come through referrals from primary care physicians and other specialists, but it’s not required.

    What happens first?

We start with a free 15-minute phone or video consultation. It’s low-pressure — the goal is for both of us to figure out whether we’re a good fit before you commit to anything. We’ll ask about your neurological concerns, explain how our model works, and answer your questions. If it seems like a good match, we’ll talk through next steps.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

We’ll send you a checklist after you schedule, but you’ll typically want to bring any prior neurology records, a current list of medications, completed intake forms, and results from any relevant imaging or testing.

Can I be seen via telehealth?

Yes. We offer telehealth for patients in Texas and Oklahoma. Many of our patients use it regularly. In-person visits are available as well.

How do I know if I need a neurologist?

Great question. We’ve put together a guide to help you consider the urgency of your symptoms. Read it here.

    Medicare & Membership

I have Medicare. How does this work?

Most concierge practices opt out of Medicare entirely. We don’t. We bill Medicare for your neurological visits just as any practice would; and we’ve structured a membership subscription on top of that, which covers the enhanced access and services our model provides. The result is concierge-level neurology that works with your Medicare coverage, not around it.

Does membership mean I’ll have additional copays?

If you are a Medicare beneficiary, your standard Medicare cost-sharing applies to our medical services in accordance with our Medicare enrollment status. Your Medicare benefits with other providers and facilities – including hospital care, imaging, therapy, and any other Medicare-covered services – are not altered by your participation in our membership program. The membership fee is consideration only for the non-Medicare amenities described in your Membership Agreement; it is not payment for any service that Medicare covers, does not duplicate any Medicare benefit, and it is not a substitute for, supplement to, or replacement of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medigap, or any other insurance.

What does Medicare cover vs. what does the membership cover?

Medicare covers your neurology visits — appointments, associated diagnostics, and procedures billed through your plan. Your membership covers everything else: same-day responses, direct physician access, proactive care coordination with your entire medical team, and the enhanced support built into your tier.

    What are the membership tiers?

We offer three tiers — Ivy, Sage, and Orchid — each with different levels of access, response time, and included services. For the full breakdown, we’d encourage you to schedule a free consultation. We can walk you through which tier makes sense for your situation. You may also visit the Medicare Membership Page.

    Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, at any time, with no cancellation fee. Membership is billed monthly, with an option to pay annually at a discount.

What if my needs change and I want to move to a different tier?

That’s something we’d work through together. We’d rather have an honest conversation about what level of care makes sense for your situation than have you locked into something that isn’t the right fit.

    Direct-Pay

I don’t have Medicare. Can I still be seen?

Yes. We offer direct-pay consultations for patients without Medicare — no insurance complexity, no surprise bills. You’ll know what a visit costs before you come in, and payment is straightforward.

What types of consultations do you offer?

We offer four main consultation types: Preventative Brain Health, Women’s Brain Health, Second Opinions, and Same-day Consultations for urgent neurological concerns. Learn more about direct pay neurology.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. Direct-pay visits are eligible for HSA and FSA funds in most cases. We’d recommend confirming with your plan administrator.

Is there a membership option for direct-pay patients?

Direct pay patients may join any of our membership tiers to get enhanced access, support, and wellness coaching.

I have Medicare. Can I still use direct pay?

Because we’re credentialed with Medicare, we’re required to bill Medicare for covered services for Medicare patients. We can walk you through your options during the free consultation.

    Appointments & Access

How quickly can I be seen?

For established patients, we’re committed to appointments within 24–48 hours when you have an urgent need. For new patients, the process starts with a free 15-minute consultation, after which we can typically schedule your first full appointment within one week.

What does “direct access” actually mean day-to-day?

It means that when something comes up — a question, a new symptom, a concern before your next appointment — you’re not navigating a phone tree or waiting days for a call back. You’ll have a direct line to our care team, and at higher membership tiers, direct access to your physician. We respond to calls and messages asap.

What if I have an emergency?

For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. We’re equipped to provide prompt access and respond quickly to urgent concerns — but life-threatening emergencies require emergency services.

    Your Care Team

Will I always see the same doctor?

You’ll have a primary neurologist who knows your case and leads your care. That continuity matters to us, and we’ve built our model to protect it. At the same time, you have access to a three-doctor team, which means if your primary physician isn’t available and something urgent comes up, you’re not starting from scratch with someone who’s never heard of you.

How do the three doctors work together?

We function as a genuine collective — regular communication, shared knowledge of one another’s patients, and collaborative thinking on complex cases. If your case would benefit from a different perspective within the team, that conversation happens naturally, without a formal referral process.

Do you coordinate with my other physicians?

Yes. Keeping your care team aligned is something we take seriously. The level of active coordination depends on your membership tier. We can walk you through what’s included during your free consultation.”

Can I keep my primary care doctor?

Yes. We work alongside your existing medical team — we don’t replace them. In fact, coordinating with your primary care doctor and other specialists is a core part of what your membership provides.

    Practical Logistics

Do you provide documentation for insurance reimbursement?

For direct-pay patients, we can provide documentation to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan — we recommend confirming with your insurer directly.

    Where are you located?

We’re located at 12720 Hillcrest Rd #702, Dallas, TX 75230. Find us on Google Maps.

Do you see patients outside of Dallas?

We see patients from across the DFW area, and telehealth is available for patients anywhere in Texas.

Is your contact form secure for medical information?

Our website contact form is not HIPAA-protected. Please don’t include sensitive health details in your initial message. Once we’ve connected and you’re scheduling a visit, we’ll walk you through our secure intake process.

Do you handle workers’ compensation or legal cases?

No. We don’t see workers’ compensation cases or patients seeking care for legal matters.
